Enter the URL of your preferred video hosting site in a browser of your choice. For this demonstration, we will be using YouTube as our video hosting site.
Using the YouTube search bar, search for whatever video you would like to embed on your site.
After you find and click on a video you want to embed on your site, click the 'SHARE' button to open the share menu.
Clicking the share button will make a share menu pop up. The menu lists several share options. In order to embed your video, you need to choose the 'Embed' option, which is the first one in the list.
Choosing the 'Embed' option will make an 'Embed Video' pop-up appear. On the right-hand side, you can find the block of code that you will need to embed your video. You can [1] choose where your video starts, [2] change the dimensions of the video player, and [3] add a border to the video player. Once you are done customizing your video player, click the [4] 'COPY' button, which will copy your code to the clipboard.
Go to your website's HTML editor and paste the embedding code you just copied wherever you want on your site.
The video should appear embedded in it's own video player on your site, similar to the one below.
